Margaritaville Coming to Nashville

Parrotheads who like their margaritas with just a little touch of Southern Comfort will be thrilled to know that Jimmy Buffet and his Coral Reefers Band will be in town on the 27th of April to kick off their “Songs from St. Somewhere Tour.”

Starting with the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, the band will visit 11 major markets over the next five months, including Atlanta, Georgia, Austin and Frisco, Texas, Boston, Massachusetts, Camden, New Jersey, Virginia Beach, Virginia, Cincinnati, Ohio, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Washington, D.C., and finally winding up in late August with two nights in Wantagh, New York.

At Buffett’s February 7 show at Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena, Jimmy and the band were in fine form with crowd-pleasing favorites, “Changes in Lattitudes, Changes in Attitudes,” “Volcano,” and “Son of a Son of a Sailor,” along with Lionel Richie’s “All Night Long,” Alan Jackson’s “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere,” and the Zac Brown Band’s “Knee Deep.”

Margaritaville fans go to a Jimmy Buffett concert to sing along to old favorites, get mellow, and basically have a party in paradise, and that’s what they did, all night long.  Parrotheads just want to chill out and have a good time, and Buffett and his band did not disappoint.

Nashville residents are no stranger to the flip-flop wearing, cheeseburger-in-paradise crowd, as Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville Restaurant has a prime location on Honky Tonk Row, just steps from the Music City Convention Center.  No doubt Buffett’s Nashville fans are all a twitter about the upcoming tour stop in April, and wondering whether the legendary singer himself will stop in at the restaurant for one of his famous cheeseburgers.

Tickets for the Nashville concert as well as the rest of the tour are already on sale in most markets, and are disappearing fast.  Don’t miss out on your chance to see Jimmy Buffett live in concert this spring and summer.  Check out StubPass.com for concert dates and locations, and get your tickets before they’re gone!
