Go Evil with Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson

Close the windows, pull the drapes, hide your drugs and weapons. The twins of evil have been unleashed and they’re ready to rip through your town. At last, the kings of sinister, the masters from the boiling pits of insanity on a live wire, Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson are doubling up to set your soul on fire.

Rob Zombie has earned a reputation from not only his music, (White Zombie and then a solo career) but also his films, serving as a director and producer. (And even a writer!) Marilyn Manson is the hard rock devil flirter that brought us such irascible albums as Smells Like Children and Antichrist Superstar. He also did a mean version of Danny Elfman’s “This Is Halloween” from The Nightmare Before Christmas.

You haven’t seen anything yet until you’ve seen these teaming rock stars’ new performance, rolling out of Phoenix, Arizona on September 28th at the Desert Uprising Festival, and wrapping up the first leg of their sizzling, hell bent tour on that sacred day of death and defiance, in Houston, Texas. That’s Halloween for the uninitiated, and what better way to herald in the dead than attending a Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson concert?

Yes, it’s about time the two master fiends of the electric string got together, and they have no intention of letting down their fans. Accompanying them will be J Devil, the DJ alter-ego of Korn’s front man, Jonathan Davis, to drive the sound of electro-metal into utter chaos.

Their agenda is to spook you, thrill you and creep you out. They have plenty up their fiendish sleeves; their morbid theatrics include animatronic robots, pyrotechnics and ghoulish film clips. Zombie is under wraps, working on his new album, but in the meantime plans to release the remix disc, “Mondo Sex Head” on August 7. In the meantime, Manson is kicking up support for hard rocking new album, “Born Villain”, which debuted earlier this year and hit the Top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart while yielding the hit single “No Reflection”. If you’re looking for the macabre to kick off your autumn festivities, don’t miss out when the “Twins of Evil” go on tour.
