NFL Training Camps In Full Swing
|
The smell of NFL football is in the air… With the majority of players now at camp, news is developing at a rapid pace. Let’s take a look at news from around the league:
NY Jets | The Jets and Darrelle Revis are at an impasse, as Revis continues to hold out from camp. |
Pittsburgh Steelers | Santonio Holmes will not be reporting to camp until Wednesday, due to “personal family matters”.
Maurkice Pouncey sat out of practice on Sunday, due to a hamstring injury. Smart move making him do a second conditioning test on Sunday morning – things that make you go hmmmm… |
Washington Redskins | Albert Haynesworth did not take the mandatory conditioning test for the third day in a row (L knee). He won’t be permitted to practice until he passes it. |
Denver Broncos | RB’s Knowshon Moreno and Correll Buckhalter have both been injured on the Broncos’ first day of training camp. The Denver Post reports Moreno suffered a serious left hamstring injury, and will be out three weeks. Buckhalter suffered a upper back injury. |
