One Direction Releasing New Single, Unveils Album Art
|
In the same year that they released their debut album, One Direction will release their second album, “Take Me Home.” The album will be released on November 13 with the first single “Live While We’re Young,” being released to radio on September 24. One week later, the single will be available on iTunes.
The album, says Niall Horan of the group, “isn’t too different” from their debut album, but fans might find this one has a bit more of a personal touch. The band co-wrote many of the songs, along with renowned British artists such as Ed Sheeran and Tom Fletcher of McFly. Along with injecting their own lyrics, the album of the title is also quite personal.
“We all do a lot of travelling around the world and we get to see a lot of cool places. But the main thing is there’s no place like home. It’s always kind of nice to go home.”
When the band sent the social media world into a frenzy announcing the release of their next single in the next few weeks, they also released album art. The cover depicts all members of the band (Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles and Liam Payne) cramming themselves in and around a telephone booth. Perhaps to call someone and ask for a lift home? The cover has already gotten rave reviews, with fans saying that it shows the fun playful nature of the band.
For those that are wondering if the band plans on touring to promote the album — they are! You can find the dates on our One Direction ticket page at StubPass.com.
